Rock-carving from the Bronze Age.
Sweden and Norway has some of
the finest rock-carvings in the world.
The Scandinavian carvings are mostly
from early stoneage or the bronzeage.

The carving shows:

The most common motif on rock-carvings is the ship
Sails are never found on the carvings, this leads
to the conclusion that the ships where paddled away.
The crew is sketched off with vertical lines.
